There have been lookalikes in the film industry. One such famous lookalike is of Madhuri Dixit. This actress became a notable figure in the 1990s after her debut in the 1992 film Jaan Tere Naam which indeed made her an overnight sensation. Actress Farheen Khan was frequently compared to Madhuri Dixit due to their similar facial features and expressions leading to her being dubbed as Madhuris lookalike. Despite the success of Jaan Tere Naam and the popularity of the song First Time Dekha Tumhe her career didn’t reach the same heights as Madhuris. Farheen appeared in a few other films. Farheen Khan also starred as Akshay Kumar’s sister in Sainik (1993) further making her presence in Bollywood during the early 90s. In addition to her Bollywood career she found notable success in the South Indian film industry where she acted in films like Kalaignan (1993) opposite Kamal Haasan. Interestingly Farheen was indeed offered the role of Seema which eventually went to Shilpa Shetty in the blockbuster film Baazigar (1993) opposite Shah Rukh Khan. However she chose to work in Kalaignan instead which was a major film in Tamil cinema at the time. Farheen Khan left her acting career at the peak time to marry Indian cricketer Manoj Prabhakar. She always wanted to have a family and give dedication there as she came from a broken family. After she got married the couple moved to Delhi. They have two sons Raahil and Manavansh. Farheen started her business venture - Naturence Herbals an organic skincare line. The couple also has a homestay in Nainital that has a luxury villa.
