Latest News :- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has ordered Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to immediately submit an explanatory report on the issue of animal fat in Tirupati Lattu Prasad. In Andhra Pradesh, the Devasthanam Trustees Board appointed during the previous Jaganmohan Reddy regime purchased ghee from 5 companies at very low prices, i.e. Rs 320 to Rs 411 per kg. Among these, AR Dairy Food Company of Dindigul has been sending ghee to Tirupati Devasthanam for the last 5 years.

Due to this the quality of lattu has declined significantly. Although devotees have been complaining about this, no action was taken in the previous government. In such a situation, there was a change of power in Andhra Pradesh and Chandrababu Naidu became the Chief Minister. After this, Devasthanam Executive Officer Shyamal Rao has taken cognizance of the complaint about the quality of Tirupati Lattu Prasadam. While Chandrababu Naidu had ordered testing in this regard, the ghee was sent to the NDTB testing center in Gujarat last July for testing.

At the end of the investigation it was found that the ghee was adulterated. According to the test report, fish oil, cow and pig fat are mixed in this ghee. Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu publicly blamed the previous Jagan government in this regard. After this, protests are taking place in many states including Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and effigies of Jaganmohan Reddy are being burnt. Hindu organizations have filed complaints in various police stations in Andhra Pradesh. Petitions have also been filed in the Supreme Court and Andhra High Court. In this connection, a high level meeting was held under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Amravati yesterday afternoon.

It was attended by state Chief Secretary Nirab Kumar Prasad, ministers Anamaram Narayan Reddy, Nimmala Rama Naidu, Satya Prasad, Kolla Ravindra, Parthasarathy and others. Consultation took place for about an hour. After this, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu ordered Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam to immediately submit a full explanatory report on the irregularities in the ghee used in making Lattu Prasad during the Jagan regime. He also said that the decision on the matter of protecting the sanctity of the seven Malayan temples would be taken in consultation with Agama, Vedic and religious bodies.

Former CM Jagan's denial: Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy told reporters in Amaravati last evening: Why is Chandrababu Naidu alleging that 100 days after coming to power, the ghee used in Tirumala Lattu Prasad is adulterated? Now their rule is taking place. This incident has happened in this kingdom. The election promises could not be fulfilled in the 100 days of the government. That's why Chandrababu Naidu has accused our government of diverting people's attention. This is a myth. Jagan said this.

In such a situation, State General Secretary Sudhakar Reddy, on behalf of Jaganmohan's party YSR Congress, has filed a petition in the Andhra High Court yesterday demanding that a committee be immediately formed and orders should be given to investigate the Tirupati Lattu case. This petition is to be heard on 25th.
