Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple is known as a major pilgrimage site of Lord Shiva. This temple has been an important place for Shiva devotees since ancient times. This temple is also known as cave temple. It is said that these caves were used by the Pandavas during the last period of their exile. This is the historical temple of Bholenath, where people come from far and wide for darshan. Shiv Mandir Nala

The history of this temple is said to be 550 years old. It is believed that the Shivalinga of Bhole Baba himself had appeared here. A 140 feet high statue of Bholebaba is also situated in this temple. Here God is standing with a trident in his hand. Location- This temple is located in Nalas village, about eight kilometers from Rajpura. You will also find a 500 year old Bohad tree in the premises of this temple. It is believed that whichever Shiva devotee ties a red thread on this tree, God fulfills his every wish.

Shiv Temple

This temple is considered to be the highest Shiva temple in Punjab. This village is situated in Sahora in the Shivalik Hills. To have darshan of this Baba you have to climb 762 stairs. It is said that this temple was built by the Pandavas. When Pandavas were in exile for 13 years, they came here with their entire family to worship. This is a good place to visit with family in India.
