According to media reports, the T20 captain of the Afghanistan team has married his relatives. Along with Rashid, his three brothers also got married. Rashid Khan got married at Imperial Continental in Kabul. Fireworks were lit outside the hotel to celebrate the wedding. Afghanistan cricketers made Rashid's wedding more grand by attending the ceremony. Afghanistan Cricket Board CEO Naseeb Khan, the team's most senior players Mohammad Nabi, Azmatullah Omarzai, Najibullah Zadran, Rahmat Shah, and Mujeeb ur Rahman along with many other young players attended the wedding. Many Afghanistan players posted pictures on social media and congratulated the couple on the wedding.
Rashid Khan is the biggest superstar of the Afghanistan cricket team. He has only one dream and that is to win the World Cup trophy for the team. Before the 2023 ODI World Cup, when he was asked about marriage, he said that he would not marry until the Afghanistan team won the World Cup. However, now he has broken his promise and got married.
