Amazon releases a new Fire HD 8 tablet this Wednesday. The new version packs 50 percent more RAM for better performance, better cameras, and up to 13 hours of battery life. Amazon’s new lineup reaches three models, including Fire HD 8, Fire HD 8 Kids and Fire HD 8 Kids Pro – the latter two being kid-focussed models. In its announcement to the world, the leading e-commerce provider said its new tablet, which it offered last, can be acquired by clients at up to 50 percent of savings through its introductory pricing.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet costs $54.99 in terms of initial stock and comes with 32GB of built-in storage, and the online shopping and digital content provider also has another version which is at 64GB, priced at $84.99. But the company announced that this price is just for the launch offer and will increase to $99.99 and $129.99 for both, respectively on 9th October.
The different available colors come in three; Black, Emerald, and Hibiscus.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 comes with an 8-inch HD display. It is accompanied by up to 4GB RAM, which is 50 percent more than its predecessor, as well as up to 64GB of in-built storage. The tablet is powered by a hexa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. The latter is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The camera features a 5-megapixel front selfie camera.

Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet is coming with generative AI features. It is going to come with an assistant for writing that can help smoothen the messages. It is said to be compatible with any app, be it emails or Microsoft Word documents and even social media. They have informed that it will also offer web page summarization via Silk browser. They will be able to get highlights and key points of the article.
The new wallpaper creator also introduces new customization options for the tablet. Users can pick one of the curated prompts or create an own one to enable a wallpaper to be generated with the help of generative AI.
