The dates for junior colleges’ first term vacation have been issued by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, or TSBIE. A press statement from TSBIE states that from October 6, 2024, to October 13, 2024, all schools and institutions that provide the two-year Intermediate level would be closed.

All schools, including government, charity, cooperative, private aided, and private unaided institutions, will be closed on October 13 and reopen on Monday, October 14, 2024.

The college administration has asked all District Intermediate Education Officers (DIEOs) to keep an eye on compliance by monitoring adherence to the holiday schedule. The administration of the college has been instructed by TSBIE to make sure that holiday notices are sent across the corresponding districts.

“The Principals of all Government/Private Aided/Private Un-Aided/Co-Operative/TG Residential/TG Social Welfare Residential/TG Tribal Welfare Residential/TG Model Schools/TG BC Welfare/TMRJC/KGBV/Incentive Junior Colleges and Composite Degree Colleges offering a two-year Intermediate Course are informed that the first term holidays for Junior Colleges are declared from 06-10-2024 to 13-10-2024 (Including both days) and shall be reopened on 14-10-2024.” The TSBIE’s official notice highlights the significance of the holiday schedule. In order to provide students, instructors, and staff members a vacation during the holiday season, the first term holidays are declared.

TSBIE Extended the First-Year Intermediate Student Admission Deadline

The deadline for first-year intermediate admissions has also been extended by Telangana TSBIE. The application deadline, which was originally set for September 15th, has been extended to October 15th. Parents and students are encouraged by TSBIE to confirm the junior colleges they have chosen are affiliated before submitting an application.
