Pakistani actress Naeema Butt got emotional after receiving an outpouring of love from fans for her role as ‘Rubab’ in the drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.

Fahad Mustafa made a successful return to the drama industry after 10 years with Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, produced by his own company. His comeback has been widely praised and celebrated.

The character Rubab from Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum is being compared to “Pakistani Rapunzel.” Written by Farhat Ishtiaq, the storyline has captivated not only women but also men and younger viewers.

In the drama, Hania Aamir and Fahad Mustafa portray Sheherina and Mustafa, while Naeema Butt plays ‘Rubab’, a wealthy girl who is willing to go to great lengths for her love, Adeel. Despite Rubab being an antagonist compared to Sheherina, Naeema’s acting has won fans over.

Recently, Naeema Butt thanked her fans during an interview with Indian journalist Faridoon Shahryar, expressing her gratitude for the unexpected growth in her fan base.

In the interview, Naeema shared that although people initially disliked her character, now that Rubab has gone to the UK, fans are missing her and sending her messages asking when she will return to the drama.

She also mentioned a touching incident when she was out with her mother, and a female doctor approached her to praise her acting skills.

The fan told her mother, “Please don’t stop Naeema from pursuing her career. Her talent is needed on TV.” Naeema admitted that this heartfelt remark made her emotional and brought tears to her eyes.
