Dungeon Format and Contest Mode
Unlike previous world-first events, Vesper’s Host is a dungeon challenge. This means only fireteams of three players can enter the competition. In contrast to the six-player raid format, the smaller team size will result in new team formations. Contest mode will be active for the first 48 hours of the event. This mode limits the light level of fireteams, making it more challenging for players. Contest mode will be removed once three teams have cleared the dungeon. For the completion to be valid, all fireteam members must finish each encounter for the first time and collect loot from the final chest.

Rewards
As with previous world-first events, there will be rewards for viewers. Players who watch at least two hours of a Twitch stream with Drops enabled can earn the Effortless Flow Emblem. Viewers who subscribe to a Destiny 2 streamer can also earn the Broadcasting from the Dark Emblem. Both rewards will be available from 9:30 AM PT on October 11 until 10 AM PT on October 13. Players will need to tune in during this time frame to qualify for these rewards.
