South superstar Junior NTR appeared in the solo film 'Devra: Part 1' after 6 years. This most awaited film of NTR was released in theaters on 27th September, however, the buzz created about this film was not reflected in its earnings. The film has earned well across the world, but its status in India has been shaky. But the film's earnings seem to be improving in the second weekend.
While on one hand the entire team of 'Devra' is having a success party regarding the performance of this film worldwide, on the other hand the response of the audience in India has been quite disappointing. According to the report of Sacknilk, 'Devra' has earned Rs 12.25 crore (estimated earning) on the 10th day, which is the highest earning in the weekend of the second week. Till the 9th day, the film has earned Rs 345.50 crore worldwide.
The 10th day earnings of NTR's 'Devra' lagged behind the 10th day earnings of superstar Thalapathy Vijay's GOAT by Rs 1.25 crore and the earnings of Prabhas's 'Kalki 2898 AD' by Rs 21.9 crore. However, 'Devra' has left Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' released in August behind in terms of earnings. Talking about the opening day, the film had a very good start, but on the very second day of its release its earnings dropped by more than half.
'Devra' has earned a total of Rs 243.12 crore in 10 days. Soon it will enter the Rs 250 crore club. This film was released in many languages. On the tenth day, the Telugu version of the film has earned Rs 8 crore, the Hindi version has earned Rs 3.75 crore, the Kannada version has earned Rs 12 lakh, the Tamil version has earned Rs 35 lakh and the Malayalam version has earned Rs 3 lakh. Talking about the Hindi version of Day 10 only, Devra has left behind Thalapathy's GOAT and 'Indian 2'.
