Hardik Pandya: The Indian cricket team has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series by defeating Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the first T20 International played at the New Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior on Sunday (October 6). Hardik Pandya played an important role in India's victory with his all-round performance. First he took 1 wicket for 26 runs in bowling and then in batting he played an unbeaten inning of 39 runs in 16 balls, in which he hit five fours and two sixes.

Hardik gave India victory by hitting a six on the fifth ball of the 12th over of the innings bowled by Taskin Ahmed. With this he made a special record in his name. Hardik has reached number one in terms of leading India to victory by hitting a six in T-20 International. He has done this feat for the fifth time.

Hardik left behind Virat Kohli, who has led India to victory by hitting sixes four times. However, now he has retired from this format. MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant are at third place with 3-3 times.

After being invited to bat first, Bangladesh was all out for 127 runs in 19.5 overs on the strength of the innings of Mehdi Hasan Miraj (35) and Najmal Hussain Shanto (27).

In bowling for India, Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakraborty took 3-3 wickets, Hardik Pandya, Mayank Yadav and Washington Sundar took 1-1 wicket.
