Salman Khan’s controversial Bigg Boss 18 hostess Shilpa Shirodkar disclosed some dark facts about the entertainment world. On Sunday night, BB18 had its big debut. Prominent figure from the 90s film industry Shilpa Shirodkar, who has collaborated with several Bollywood megastars, spoke candidly about her struggles to get employment in the business. She added that she was no longer receiving calls from manufacturers.
She said, “I had been looking for a job for a long time,” in a chat with HT. People in the business stopped picking up my calls, and no one wanted to employ me. They said I wasn’t qualified for any positions. I need employment because I’m an artist, and I have no problem appearing on programs like Bigg Boss.”
Shilpa said, “People have different perspectives on Bigg Boss 18,” expressing her appreciation for the program. All I want to do is work more. It’s not like I came here to pretend. I went through a phase when nobody wanted to meet me. To be honest, I love Bigg Boss. I used to watch it a lot with my kid, and she always urged me to watch it too. I therefore accepted the offer as soon as I got it.”
