The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said on Monday that before leaving the government house, Tejashwi Yadav, the former deputy chief minister of Bihar, and his men took furniture, including beds and couches, washbasins, and water taps.

The move is taking place against the background of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav’s prior house being taken over by existing Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.

Samrat Chaudhary is scheduled to move into the home at 5 Deshratna Road in Patna on the auspicious festival of Vijayadashami. The property was just assigned to him.

Before he moved into the government house, a big scandal started.

Tejashwi Yadav is charged with pilfering basic amenities from the government home, such as lights and water taps.

Samrat Chaudhary’s personal secretary, Shatrughan Prasad, said to IANS, “We are exposing the theft of the Deputy Chief Minister’s possessions from his residence. There were two hydraulic beds and couch sets for visitors when Sushil Modi moved into this home, and everyone could view them, including the media. Those items are all absent.”

Over 20 split air conditioners are absent. The operation room is empty of a chair and computer. The kitchen is devoid of a refrigerator and a RO. He said, “Lights have been stolen from the walls.

The media in-charge for the Bihar BJP, Danish Iqbal, who also conducted an inspection of the property, said, “Samrat Chaudhary was given this bungalow and was supposed to move into this home during Navratri. There are no washbasins, water taps, or chairs, among other necessities. They have removed the hydraulic bed. The badminton court’s mat has been removed. There is no workout equipment and the gym is deserted. The lights at the foundation have been removed.”

Though RJD has not yet responded to the intense uproar, the shocking claim is expected to intensify political squabbling in the state.

Meanwhile, Bihar-born Union Minister Giriraj Singh has attacked the RJD leadership and called for a thorough investigation to determine the extent of “theft” at the Deputy Chief Minister’s home.
