India’s highest-paid actor earned Rs 2200 crore from TV, it’s not Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Kapil Sharma, Rupali Ganguly, Hina Khan, Dilip Joshi

He is not just an actor he is known for excelling in everything he undertakes. Whether its acting hosting directing or producing he achieves perfection in all his endeavours. Renowned for working in a variety of film genres particularly those addressing social issues like education and gender equality he focuses on creating a positive impact both in India and abroad. With a career spanning over 30 years he has firmly established himself as a leading figure in the industry. He created and hosted a television talk show that provided him with a platform to discuss social issues in India. His work as a social reformer through this show earned him a spot on Times 100 Most Influential People in the World list in 2013. The show in question is Satyamev Jayate for which Aamir Khan the host earned a significant amount. Aamir Khan got the idea of Dangal from Satyamev Jayate In 2014 Aamir Khan was hosting the third season of his show Satyamev Jayate and in one of the episodes he introduced two girls who were relatively unknown at the time. During the episode Aamir shared the struggles these girls faced and how they overcame numerous challenges to make history. These two girls were wrestlers Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat. You may recall the superhit film Dangal which was based on the lives of Geeta and Babita. In that episode Aamir got the idea of Dangal which created history in 2016. Dangal earned Rs 374.43 crore in just 11 days breaking all previous records. The films worldwide lifetime collection stands at Rs 2207.3 crore making it Indias highest-grossing film ever. Interestingly its TV show that gave him Rs 2200 crore where he conceptualised Dangal. Aamir Khan also bagged awards for tackling social issues Aamir Khan was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010 and received an honorary title from the Government of China in 2017. In October 2014 he was appointed as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for South Asia.
