Chris Dawson, Head of Store Operations, expressed his excitement about the new offering, as he explained the reason the chain is introducing it.

"We're delighted to introduce our new gift card, providing our customers with an easy and convenient way to share the Home Bargains experience with their loved ones," he shared.

"Our gift card is the perfect solution for anyone looking for a thoughtful and practical gift, allowing recipients to choose from a wide range of products that offer incredible value."

With a validity of 24 months, the gift card gives recipients the freedom to use it at their convenience, making it an easy and hassle-free addition to the holiday shopping list.

It comes as the retailer sparked a frenzy among shoppers over a £8 wireless lamp, which is now coming back into stores since viral success had it sell out twice.

The lamp hit the shelves earlier this year, but quickly ran out due to how popular it was. Shoppers say the Home Bargains product looks 'so luxurious' and could easily be mistaken for this at a glance.

However, by opting for Home Bargains' version, customers can save themselves £60.

The modern glass lamp has a speckled design and gives off a warm glow when switched on. It costs just £7.99 and is available whilst stocks last.

In an post, the store announced: "IT'S BACK! Our viral LED lamp is in stores now!".
