UPDATE: A man opened fire on deputies outside of the Gwinnett County Jail in Georgia on Monday. The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office said the situation is under control and "there is no ongoing threat to the public's safety."At a news conference, Gwinnett County Sheriff Keybo Taylor said the man arrived at the jail and confronted the officers. "The individual continued to demonstrate unusual behavior when exiting our building. The individual returned to his vehicle, retrieved a firearm and at some point began firing on our deputies," Taylor said. The suspect was shot. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
