Vinay Forrt, the lead actor of the Malayalam film Aattam, expressed his excitement and hope following the film's victory for Best Film at the 70th National Film Awards. He emphasised that many talented young filmmakers are eager to create quality cinema but often struggle to get funding. "The commercial cinema scene, I think everywhere it is the same. They only fund a film which has a great actor, a great filmmaker, or big names.
