Indian young pacer Mayank Yadav, revealed that he got an offer to join the Navy before he entered the world of cricket. However, he denied the job in order to pursue the sport. Mayank then revealed that he followed a quote that is claimed to be said by industrialist Ratan Tata.

Mayank revealed that his coach was not happy with him for rejecting the offer to join Navy as there was a fear of an injury impacting his career as a bowler. To make some sense of his life, Mayank started reading Bhagawad Gita.

Mayank says that his life changed only when he saw a quote from Ratan Tata on social media. As quoted by The Indian Express, Mayank said, “I read somewhere that Ratan Tata said, ‘I don’t believe in taking right decisions; I take decisions, then I make them right’. That clicked for me,”

However, Ratan Tata had never said that quote and it was a statement on social media.
