In the year 2007, a film was released, its name was- Muni. This horror comedy film got a tremendous response from the public. After many years, the director announced to bring of its sequel in 2011. The person who directed and produced this film is Raghav Lawrence. This film made a lot of money at the box office, after which many reports said that Salman Khan would be seen in the Hindi remake of this popular horror film 'Kanchana'. He was planning this with his brother Sohail Khan. Salman Khan and Raghav Lawrence were going to work together for the first time.

The whole matter started when it was found out that 'Kanchana' director Raghav Lawrence was interested in making its Hindi remake. Salman Khan and Lawrence kept planning to come together for this big project, but in the end, Akshay Kumar won the race.

Salman and Lawrence were about to come together 11 years ago.

There was talk of making a Hindi remake of 'Kanchana', but it could not be completed. After this, Salman Khan decided to leave the film. Then it was known that he would work in the Hindi remake of Dookodu. But no one knows why the matter got spoiled. According to media reports, Raghav Lawrence was keen to make the Hindi remake of 'Kanchana'. On the other hand, Salman Khan wanted to work in this film with his brother Sohail. In such a situation, Sohail wanted to direct the film, for which Lawrence was not ready. He also wanted to make the Hindi remake, which could not happen and the matter got stuck.

A report published in the Times of India revealed that Vikram Singh, advisor of One Motion Pictures, wanted to see Salman Khan in the film. Therefore, the film 'Kanchana' was shown to Arbaaz Khan. Sohail Khan was also present there during this time. But in the end, this film could not be made with Salman Khan. After many years, i.e. in 2020, a Hindi remake of 'Kanchana' was made. The name of this film was 'Laxmi Bomb'. Akshay Kumar was in the lead role, which was directed and produced by Raghav Lawrence. But due to Covid, it could not be released in theaters, which had to be brought on OTT.
