Samajwadi Party leader and Actor Swara Bhaskar’s husband Fahad Ahmad has joined Shrad Pawar's NCP (SP) on Sunday, party leader Jayant Patil said. 

Ahmad will contest the Maharashtra Assembly Polls and will fight the Anushakti Nagar seat against Sana Malik of NCP, Patil said. 

"Samajwadi Party leader and Actor Swara Bhaskar’s husband Fahad Ahmad joined NCP-SCP. He has been fielded from the Anushakti Nagar seat against Sana Malik of NCP (Ajit Pawar)," NCP-SCP leader Jayant Patil said.
