The Pakistan cricket team recently won the Test series 2-1 against England and won applause but now immediately after this victory, the PCB has taken a decision which has raised questions on it. Actually, Pakistan cricket team's ODI-T20 head coach Gary Kirsten suddenly resigned and the big thing is that PCB immediately accepted his resignation and also announced the new head coach the very next moment. Pakistan has handed over the head coaching of the ODI and T20 team to Jason Gillespie in place of Kirsten.

Jason Gillespie is currently the head coach of Pakistan's Test team. Immediately after Kirsten's resignation, he has also been given the responsibility of the ODI and T20 teams. However, this responsibility is nominal because, after Pakistan's Zimbabwe and Australia series, someone else can take over this position in his place. Pakistan has to play ODI and T20 series against Zimbabwe and Australia and Pakistan cannot get a new ODI, or T20 head coach so soon, so PCB gave this responsibility to Gillespie.

Gary Kirsten did not want to leave the post.

According to Pakistani media reports, Gary Kirsten did not want to leave the post of coach. He had made a complete plan for the series against Zimbabwe and Australia but PCB suddenly did something which made him very angry. PCB took away the right to select players from the Pakistan coach. Kirsten was unhappy with this and then PCB created such an environment that he had to leave his post.

By the way, Jason Gillespie is also disappointed with this decision of PCB. During the Test series against England, he had said in a press conference that he does not have the right to select any player, so he cannot say anything on the issue of selection of players.
