On Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath convened with the family of a businessman who purportedly succumbed while in police custody and conveyed his condolences, pledging comprehensive support.
The Chief Minister expressed his sympathies and directed officials to allocate an ex gratia sum of Rs 10 lakh to Mohit Pandey’s family, along with provisions for housing, free education for the children, and access to a range of government schemes.
Chief Minister Adityanath assured the family that those accountable would encounter severe repercussions, vowing that no offender would evade justice.
This morning, Pandey’s mother, Tapeshwari Devi, accompanied by his wife and children, paid a visit to the official residence of the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister extended prompt financial assistance of Rs ten lakh and mandated that the family receive all relevant benefits available through government initiatives, encompassing housing and complimentary education for the children.
The relatives of the deceased entrepreneur conveyed their contentment regarding the meeting.
Mohit’s mother, Tapeshwari Devi, expressed her contentment following the meeting with the Chief Minister. He confidently conveyed his comprehensive understanding of the case and emphasized that there would be no leniency. Upon the conclusion of the investigation, decisive measures will be implemented against individuals determined to be culpable.
The meeting was attended by Bakshi Ka Talab MLA Yogesh Kumar Shukla and Councilor Shailendra Verma.
