Mansukh Mandaviya urges youth to apply for National Youth Award 2022-23

New Delhi New Delhi: Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labor & Employment Mansukh Mandaviya has invited young Indians to apply for the prestigious National Youth Awards (NYA) 2022-23 in recognition of their extraordinary contribution to India's development and social progress. Have encouraged.

Highlighting the remarkable spirit of India's youth in various fields – be it sports, social service, science or research – Mandaviya emphasized that these awards are not mere accolades, but are an opportunity to build a progressive and inclusive India. It is a celebration of youth leadership.

According to the PIB press release, the Department of Youth Affairs under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, recognizes individuals (between the age of 15 to 29 years) and organizations for their outstanding work and contribution in areas such as health, human rights promotion, active citizenship and community service. Presents National Youth Awards (NYA).

The objectives of the awards are to motivate the youth to achieve excellence in national development and social service, to encourage them to develop a sense of responsibility towards the community, to enhance their potential as responsible citizens and to contribute towards national progress including social service. To recognize the excellent work done by voluntary organizations in youth development. Applications for National Youth Awards (2022-23) are being accepted from 1 to 15 November 2024 through the Common Awards Portal of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
