Diwali has brought immense joy for teams Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. The two of the most awaited Bollywood films clashed with each other during the festive season and witnessed a strong opening at the box office. Even though receiving mix reviews both the films managed to pull in strong collections on its first day. Singham Again Singham Again is the third instalment of the super-hit franchise. Singham was released in 2011 starring Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in lead roles followed by Singham Returns in 2014. Directed by Rohit Shetty both were box office hits. Apart from Ajay Devgn Singham Again also stars Akshay Kumar Kareena Kapoor Khan Deepika Padukone Arjun Kapoor Tiger Shroff Jackie Shroff and Ranveer Singh. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 On the other hand Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the third installment of Priyadarshans directorial. Helmed by Anees Bazmee the horror comedy features Kartik Aaryan Vidya Balan Madhuri Dixit Nene and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles. Vidya Balan who played the character of Avni/Manjulika in the original 2007 film also returned to the franchise. According to the same reports Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has made a strong opening at the box office earning Rs 35.5 crore. It has been declared Kartik Aaryans biggest opener till date surpassing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 that was his previous biggest opener. Singham Again vs Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Despite a promising start Kartik Aaryans horror comedy failed to beat Ajay Devgns muti-starrer. While Singham Again had a larger opening the occupancy for Bhool Bhulaiya 3 is higher at 66% vs 55%. Speaking to ANI Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh hoped for a blockbuster success of both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Both films are great. Bhool Bhoolaiyaa 3 is a horror-comedy while Singham Again is a cop drama. Both projects offer different variety of entertainment to the audience. I am happy that both are doing great business so far. The audience is loving both films... what else do we want? If both films continue to do good business then I would be extremely happy to see makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again throw a combined success party he said.
