The Telangana School Education Department has opened registrations for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET or TG TET 2 2024), scheduled to take place between January 1 and January 20, 2025. Applicants have until November 20, 2024, to complete the online registration on the official website tgtet2024.aptonline.in.

Candidates who took the TG TET May/June 2024 exam but did not pass, or those who passed but wish to improve their scores, are exempted from paying the examination fee. For new candidates, the fee is set at Rs 750 for one paper and Rs 1,000 for both papers.TS TET 2024 Important Dates

TS TET Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for TS TET 2024, applicants must hold DElEd, DEd, BEd, Language Pandit, or equivalent qualifications, or be in the final year of these programs, provided they meet the required marks. Successful candidates will be eligible for teaching positions from Class 1 to 8 in various government and private schools across Telangana.2024 TS TET Exam Pattern and Passing Criteria
The TG TET exam consists of two papers:- Paper 1: For candidates aiming to teach Classes 1 to 5.
- Paper 2: For candidates who wish to teach Classes 6 to 8.
The exam has specific pass requirements based on category:
- General category: 60% or above
- BC category: Minimum 50%
- SC/ST and differently-abled candidates: Minimum 40%

A TG TET pass certificate remains valid for life, allowing candidates to apply for teaching roles at any time.
