Recently Veer Zara re-released in theatres and Shah Rukh Khans fans flocked in large numbers. Now another blockbuster starring the superstar is set to re-release in theatres a day after Suriya and Bobby Deols Kangana. The film is none other Karan Johars Kal Ho Naa Hoo. It will hit the big screens once again on November 15. Other than Shah Rukh Khan the film also starred Saif Ali Khan Jaya Bachchan and Preity Zinta. Made in Rs 28 crore the film collected Rs 82 crore worldwide meaning nearly three times its budget or a profit of almost 200%. Filmmaker Nikhil Advani claimed that if the film would have released today it would gave earned nearly Rs 1000 crore. Despite being rejected by superstars the film turned out to be a huge success at the box office. Not many know that before Saif Ali Khan the role was reportedly first offered to Salman Khan but he rejected it as he didnt want to play the second lead. The role was also offered to Abhishek Bachchan but he turned down due to unknown reasons. Moreover Preity Zintas role was first offered to Kareena Kapoor but rejected it as she wasnt happy with the remuneration Karan Johar was offering. Moreover she wanted Kjo to direct the film and didnt have faith with Nikhil Advanis directorial abilities. Either way Kareena decision didnt go well with Karan and the two fell out. Despite everything Kal Ho Naa Ho is loved and remembered by people. Especially actors emotional performance songs and dialogues are still to die for.
