That's Jack Sparrow chic, or "Pirate Fashion" for you: billowy blouses, corsets, and knee-high boots. Charli XCX, our favourite "Brat," was spotted in New York's East Village, looking like she had just stepped off the set of Pirates of the Caribbean.
The singer sported a frilly white top or billowy shirt with a deep V-neck, billowing poet sleeves, and accordion-pleated lapels.
A brown corset belt constricted her waist, and she wore it with a brown checkered flowy little skirt with purposefully random pleats sewn in it. She finished her appearance with knee-high ruched leather boots and sheer tights.

Charli kept her hair loose, donned sunglasses, and carried a stylish black top-handle purse, all in keeping with the season's love of boots and plaids.
What is Pirate Fashion?Pirates most likely did not resemble the dramatic and exotic individuals portrayed in the media.
What we call pirate fashion is a romanticized version, which allows many possibilities for it to become a stylish aesthetic. Vogue Philippines explains, "From an aesthetic point of view, pirate fashion consists of intricate, vintage-inspired clothing and accessories, which include elements of pirate attire such as tricorn hats, corsets, waistcoats, and lots of layered clothing."
