Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge was criticized by Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday for his comments on the BJP and RSS.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan said in an interview with Media that the Congress “people are full of hate” and that the party had “divided the country” in the name of “religion.”
“These members of Congress are hateful individuals…They first split the nation along religious lines, and now they want to split it along caste lines once again. However, the people of the nation will respond to this,” the Union Minister told Media.
Then he accused Congress of conveying a message of division on a regular basis.
“Congress party is bewildered after losing in Harnaya, and now they are losing in Maharashtra and Jharkhand also…” “We will get a good victory,” Chouhan said, expressing confidence in the BJP’s ability to win the Jharkhand elections. Two-thirds of the seats in the first round of voting are going to the BJP,” he remarked.
Following Kharge’s remarks that purportedly connected the BJP and RSS to divisive politics, Chouhan criticized the politician.
Mallikarjun Kharge described the BJP-RSS as “politically most dangerous” in India, saying they are like a “poison” while speaking at a rally in Sangli, Maharashtra, on Sunday.
Within the BJP, Kharge’s remarks caused disapproval, leading its leaders to attack Kharge and the Congress.
“Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement is to incite the people of Maharashtra against BJP and its supporters,” BJP leader Pradeep Bhandari told ANI. Today, it was once again shown that the lives of those who oppose the Congress-MVA administration would be in danger if they were to take power. ECI should be aware that Mallikarjun Kharge’s speech is provocative. ECI has to do something about this.
Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, attacked the ruling BJP and its alliance on Saturday for the “blank constitution row,” claiming that although the Constitution may be blank to the BJP and RSS, it is “the DNA of the country” to the Congress and INDIA bloc.
