There is good news for the candidates who want to work in the railways. Eastern Railway has released recruitment for Group C and D posts, for which online applications have been invited. A total of 60 posts will be filled in Eastern Railway under this recruitment drive. The registration process for this started on 15 November 2024 and the last date to apply has been fixed as 14 December 2024. This recruitment will be done under the sports quota.

Eastern Railway Vacancy 2024: Educational Qualification

Level-4- 4 or Level-5: Graduation in any discipline from a Government University/Institute or equivalent examination passed

Level- 2 or Level- 3: 12th or its equivalent examination passed. Educational qualification should be from Government recognized Board/Council/Institutes etc. or Matriculation passed from a recognized Board and completed Act Apprenticeship Course or Class 10th passed from Government recognized Board/Council/Institutes etc.

Level- 1: Class 10th or its equivalent examination passed or ITI passed or its equivalent examination or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) awarded by NCVT.
