Eastern Railway has released vacancies for Group C and Group D posts. All information to application will be available on rrcer.org and rrcrecruit.co.in. Let us tell you that the process of applying for these posts has started. The application process will continue till December 14.

Know how many vacancies there are

Eastern Railway has released a total of 60 vacancies. There are vacancies for 39 posts of Group D Level 1, 16 posts of Group C Level 2/Level 3 and five posts of Group C Level 4/Level 5.

Who can apply?

To apply for Level 4 and Level 5 posts in Eastern Railway, a candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university. Similarly, to apply for Level 2 or Level 3 posts, the candidate must have passed 12th class examination.

Preference will be given to those candidates who have completed apprenticeship course. For Level 1 post, candidates should have passed 10th with ITI. The age to apply for these posts should be between 18 to 25 years. Age will be calculated from January 1, 2025.

How will the restoration happen?

Medals won in various sports will also play an important role in the restoration of Eastern Railway. In the selection process, 50 marks will be given on the basis of achievements in recognized sports. Apart from this, 40 marks will be based on sports skills and physical fitness. 10 marks are prescribed for educational qualification.
