The 15th edition of Literature Live has concluded by Godrej Industries Group and NCPA! The LitFest in Mumbai

November 20, Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: The 15th Literature Live was just finished by Godrej Industries Group! The National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA), Nariman Point, hosted the Mumbai LitFest, a three-day event that was both successful and exciting. This year’s LitFest, which attracted more than 125 renowned writers, intellectuals, and artists from 13 nations, demonstrated Mumbai’s standing on the international literary scene with a diverse range of activities that pleased and motivated audiences.

One of the festival’s highlights was the coveted Godrej Literature Live! Awards, which were given out in a number of categories, including as playwriting, fiction, non-fiction, and business. The festival also presented its top honors in a remarkable ceremony: the Lifetime Achievement Award to acclaimed novelist Pratibha Ray and the Poet Laureate Award to poet Arvind Krishna Mehrotra. The winners of this year received thunderous acclaim, and the Godrej Industries Group is honored to have contributed to their celebration and success.

In addition to uniting Mumbai’s literary community, the LitFest encourages next generations to appreciate the beauty and influence of literature.

With a fantastic program that includes well-known figures like Gulzar, Jane Goodall, Prajakta Koli, William Dalrymple, and Huma Qureshi, the festival drew thousands of literary fans. Attendees were enthralled with important events including Book in Focus, The Great Debate, and unique literary prizes. Additionally, this year’s celebration of Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis included a virtual reality display that put guests in the center of the beloved novel.
