Barmer. A sensational case has come to light in Barmer district of Rajasthan, in which a young woman was sold by her lover through a broker. This young woman is originally from Nalasopara in Maharashtra and a few years ago she had a love marriage with a young man in a temple. This tragic incident not only shook the life of that young woman, but it has also become a strange story of love and deception.
The victim's husband, Jyotiba Laxman Kadam, said that his wife had married him in a temple three years ago, and they also have a two-year-old son. But after marriage, his wife started an affair with another young man, which created tension between the husband and wife, and eventually, the girl ran away from home with her lover. After this, the contact between the two broke down and the girl also broke off relations with her parents.
A few days ago, the girl called her husband and told him that she had been sold to a young man by her lover and a broker. She sent her location and pleaded for help. The husband reached Barmer with his mother-in-law and contacted the police. Police investigation revealed that a broker from Gujarat sold the girl for Rs 3.5 lakh and then fled.
The woman's husband and mother-in-law appealed to the Barmer Superintendent of Police for help, after which the police shifted the woman to Sakhi Kendra. The police are investigating the matter and the woman's parents are being contacted. Since there is no valid document of the woman's marriage, the police have to investigate the matter thoroughly. The police took immediate action in the case and shifted the woman to a safe place, but the investigation is still going on so that the accused can be caught and punished.
