The wedding procession from the groom’s side had already reached the venue.

The lady is a graduate, whereas the male reportedly failed his tenth grade. The woman’s house was reached by the groom’s side of the wedding procession late in the evening. The bride’s family members and neighbors welcomed the guests. Rituals were conducted after refreshments. The feast had began for all those invited.

The wedding pavilion was stunned by the bride’s audacious choice. Prior to the event, the parties had a meeting at the police station.

The 28-year-old bride, the eldest daughter in her family, was to be married to a 30-year-old man from a hamlet close to the Akhandnagar police station.

The father of the bride has three daughters and a son. He is employed as a laborer in Delhi.

The jaimala ritual took place on a stage. However, the bride immediately refused to marry the groom, stating that he was mentally ill, and held her position.

The elders of both households made an effort to persuade her. They continued to attempt till the next morning, but the bride refused to be married. The conclusion was still unknown despite the police’s efforts to settle the dispute between the parties when they arrived.

On Tuesday, the dads of the girl and boy showed up at the Dostpur police station. The sides reached a compromise after hours of discussion.

The jewelry given to the bride by the groom’s side will also be returned when the groom’s family reimburses the bride’s side for the expenses incurred during the Tilak ceremony, according to Pandit Tripathi, in-charge of the Dostpur police station.

According to the police, the agreement was approved by both parties.

The bride’s family has refused to speak with reporters. The father of the groom claims that up until the Jaimala ceremony, everything was going according to plan.

The girl then entered and sparked a commotion over a pair of shoes and bangles, saying, “I will not marry.”I neglected to bring them. “Give us our Tilak expenses and take your jewelry,” the girl’s relatives said.
