Actor Gaurav Khanna , who won millions of hearts with his portrayal of Anuj Kapadia in Rajan Shahi ’s blockbuster show Anupamaa , shared a warm and heartfelt message for the celebrated producer on his birthday.

In his heartfelt message, Gaurav expressed, "A very happy and healthy birthday to the only man, the best storyteller in television—the one who made me what I became in these last three years. Happy birthday, Rajan sir! May all your wishes come true, and may you have a fantastic year ahead."

He added, "I must say, I’m truly missing working with you. Fingers crossed for something new— But, happy birthday again, Rajan sir! Just waiting, and keeping my fingers crossed for the chance to work with you again."

Gaurav’s message encapsulates the deep respect and gratitude he feels for Rajan Shahi, acknowledging the immense role Rajan has played in shaping his career. On Rajan Shahi's special day, Gaurav’s heartfelt wishes echo the sentiments of countless actors, colleagues, and fans who admire his visionary leadership.

Gaurav recently made an exit from TV show Anupamaa. He opened up about his exit and said, “People have been constantly asking me about my return to Anupamaa. Rajan sir (producer Rajan Shahi) had discussed the possibility of a grand re-entry for the character, and we waited two months for it to materialise. However, the storyline had to progress, and waiting no longer made sense. He, too, felt it was time for me to explore something bigger. So, for now, Anuj’s chapter is closed, but I see it as a comma, not a full stop. If the story demands and my schedule allows, I’d be happy to return.”

He further shared, “Anuj was originally planned as a three-month cameo, but it became a defining part of my career, lasting over three years. That kind of love is rare, and I can’t thank my fans enough for it.”
