New Delhi, December 21 (IANS). The United Nations has declared 21 December as 'World Meditation Day'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reaction came after declaring 'World Meditation Day'.

Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platform X, “Today, on World Meditation Day, I urge everyone to make meditation a part of their daily life and experience its transformative potential. A powerful way to bring mindfulness into our society and planet as well. In the age of technology, apps and guided videos can be valuable tools to help incorporate meditation into our daily routine.”

After the announcement of World Meditation Day by the United Nations General Assembly, hundreds of people meditated on World Meditation Day at Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga in Delhi.

During this, Yoga Research Officer A Touren Singh said, “I have been working in this center for almost 25 years. World Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June. Also, World Meditation Day will be celebrated on 21st December from now onwards. Both these One is the biggest day of the year and the other is incomplete without meditation. Till now people used to think that yoga is different. But, meditation is a yoga It is necessary for one to do yoga. Without meditation, everyone has stress and anxiety.

Let us tell you that these days all the problems to mental health are a big challenge all over the world. Meditation is considered very effective in mental problems. Also, meditation plays a very important role in bringing a person's mind from negativity to positivity. According to an estimate, one suicide occurs every 45 seconds due to mental problems. Meditation is considered to be the solution to this problem, which is an effective solution. The importance of this method based on ancient Vedic knowledge is now being understood by the entire world.
