Ahmedabad: A parcel was detonated using a remote control, leaving four people injured, including the person who delivered the parcel, in Ahmedabad's Sabarmati area. The blast incident occurred on Saturday around 12 PM outside a house in the Chandkheda area of Sabarmati. The police have arrested one accused, identified as Gaurav Niranjan Gandhvi. Neeraj Badgujar, Joint Commissioner of Ahmedabad, stated, "One accused has been arrested for attempting to blow up Baldev Sukhadia's house over a family dispute in Shivam Row House, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad. The other three accused have been identified, and the police will arrest all of them soon."

The injured include Kiran Sukheda, his brother, his nephew, and the delivery person. Reportedly, some individuals conducted a recce of Kiran Sukheda's house the previous night, and on Saturday morning, some people arrived on a bike, one of whom delivered the parcel. It is speculated that others were behind the blast which was triggered with a remote. Following the incident, senior officials from the local police, Ahmedabad Crime Branch, and Ahmedabad Police reached the spot. The family claimed that they had not ordered any parcel. They further stated that two individuals came on a bike to deliver the parcel while two others were waiting in an auto-rickshaw.The Ahmedabad Police are investigating whether the parcel blast was an act of enmity or if other motives were involved.
