It is everyone's dream to become a millionaire. Usually, people feel that if your salary is low then it is impossible to fulfill this dream. But if you start investing at the right time with the right strategy, then you can make yourself a millionaire even with a small salary. However, in this, you have to see how good returns you are getting. According to financial experts, if you want to secure your future, then invest in a scheme that can beat inflation. Here is a formula in which you can make yourself a millionaire even by starting investing with just Rs 2000.
This formula will do wonders.
The formula to become a millionaire with a small salary is 25/2/5/35. In this, you have to adopt a long-term investment strategy and invest in mutual funds through SIP. According to this formula, you have to start investing from the age of 25. 2 means starting investing at least Rs 2,000 in SIP. 5 means increasing the amount by 5% every year, and 35 means continuing this SIP continuously for 35 years.
Understand with an example.
In 25 years, you start SIP with Rs 2,000. Now you have to increase the amount by 5% every year. After starting SIP, you invested Rs 2,000 every month for one year. Next year, you have to increase 5% of Rs 2,000 i.e. only Rs 100 in it. In this way, you have to run an SIP of Rs 2,100 for one year. Next year, increase 5% of Rs 2,100 i.e. Rs 105 again, and run SIP of Rs 2205 for the whole year. In this way, you have to increase the existing amount by 5% every year. This investment has to be continued for 35 years continuously. In 35 years you will be 60 years old and with this investment, you will be able to accumulate a good retirement fund.
Now see how you will accumulate 2 crores.
According to the formula, if you continue investing for 35 years, then according to the SIP calculator you will invest a total of 21,67,68 rupees. The average return on SIP is considered to be 12 percent. In such a situation, you will get 1,77,71,532 rupees on the investment only as interest. In this way, when you get the money by combining the invested amount and the interest amount, it will be 1,99,39,220 rupees (about 2 crores). In this way, at the age of 60, you will be the owner of 2 crores.
