Here are the common traps of cyber fraudsters
1. Fraud in the name of TRAI.
Many times we get such calls. Where the person on the other end claims to be a representative of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India or TRAI. Who threatens to disconnect the mobile connection of the customer due to non-update of KYC. Remember that TRAI can never disconnect mobile services. Only telecom companies can do this. Beware of them.

2 Parcel stuck at customs
This new trap is worrying the countrymen. Where it is being said, your parcel is stuck at customs. In which prohibited items have been found. So you may be jailed. To avoid jail, you will get exemption if you pay the fine. Report such incidents as soon as you come across them.

3 Digital Arrest 
Currently, the biggest danger is around this type of fraud trap. It is called digital arrest. Where the fraudsters link you to criminal activities and promise to investigate you online. They ask you to pay money for fines to reduce the sentence. Do not fall into this trap even if you make a mistake. Remember, no investigative agency interrogates you online.

4. Family or acquaintances arrested.
Sometimes you may receive a call saying that your family or acquaintances have been arrested. Scammers demand a large sum of money to release that person. In this case, call the person and find out their name first. Do not pay money even if you make a mistake.

5 Stock Traps to Become a Millionaire
Investors should not fall into such traps even if they make mistakes. Many fraudsters will bait you to become a millionaire overnight. In that case, they will tell you a particular stock or investment place. Do not invest there by mistake. There may be big scams there. 

6. The lure of high salaries in online jobs:
Fraudsters often lure high-paying online jobs. Scammers demand money as a security deposit to get this job. Once you pay that money, the person on the other end will turn off the switch. So be careful in advance!

7.Scammers often send emails or messages claiming that you have won the lottery. The scammers ask you to provide your bank account details to get the money. Do not give them your bank details even if you make a mistake. If you fall for this temptation, your account will be emptied.

8. Money has been transferred to your account by mistake.
Scammers are now using this type of trap quite often. Where they claim that their money has been transferred to your account by mistake. Later, the fraudsters ask you to return the money. Check your account first in this regard. Later, if you receive such a note from the bank, only then contact the bank.

9.We have received many calls from these types of scammers. Where the person on the top claims to be a representative of the bank and asks you to update your KYC by clicking on a link sent to you. Remember, banks do not call and say such things or send links.  

10. Fraud in the name of tax refund
Fraud has started in the name of tax refund. Where many people can call as income tax officers and ask for bank details. Remember, income tax has your documents. So these are the fraudsters who call.
