PM Vidya Lakshmi Yojana

Under the Pradhan Mantri Vidya Lakshmi Yojana, students taking admission in quality higher education institutions will get loans from banks and financial institutions without guarantee for fees and other expenses. This scheme was approved in the cabinet meeting held on 6 November under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Under this scheme, students can take loans up to Rs 10 lakh without guarantee. At the same time, students will get up to 75 percent credit guarantee from the government on loans up to Rs 7.5 lakh. Under the scheme, students whose family income is Rs 4.5 lakh per annum will get full subsidy on interest. Apart from this, students from families with an annual income of Rs 8 lakh will be given subsidy on interest of 3 percent on loans up to Rs 10 lakh.

Bima Sakhi Yojana
The objective of this scheme is to empower women at the economic level. Women between 18 to 70 years of age, who have passed class 10, can take advantage of the Bima Sakhi Yojana of Life Insurance Corporation of India i.e. LIC. Under the scheme, women will be made insurance agents. Insurance awareness will be promoted through Bima Sakhi Yojana. Under this scheme, women will also be given special training and honorarium for the next 3 years.

PM Solar Ghar Yojana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this scheme on February 15, 2024. Under this scheme, people of the country will be provided subsidy for installing solar panels on the roofs of houses.

Ayushman Bharat Yojana for Senior Citizens

This year a big decision was taken for senior citizens of the country above 70 years of age. On September 11, 2024, the expansion of Ayushman Bharat Yojana was approved. Under this, now under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, all senior citizens of the country above 70 years of age (from any social and economic status) will be provided health insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh.

Subhadra Yojana

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, the Karnataka government launched the Subhadra Yojana. Under this scheme, financial assistance of 10 thousand rupees is being provided to the women of the state in the form of two installments annually. Through this scheme, the government wants to improve the economic condition of women.
