Passengers Stranded Amid Outage

The IRCTC outage has left many passengers stranded, unable to access essential e-ticketing services. Social media platforms have been flooded with complaints and concerns from affected users, who expressed their dissatisfaction with the sudden disruption.

Spike in Complaints on DownDetector

DownDetector, a leading service that tracks online platform disruptions, reported a surge in complaints, with over 2,500 users affected. According to the platform, 72% of the issues were reported on the website, while 28% involved the mobile app.

Users attempting to access the app were greeted with an error message that read: “Unable to perform action due to maintenance activity.”

No Official Response from IRCTC

As of now, IRCTC has not issued an official statement explaining the cause of the outage or providing a timeline for the restoration of services. The silence has only added to the frustration of passengers who rely on the platform for seamless train bookings.

A Recurring Challenge for IRCTC

This is not the first instance of an IRCTC outage. The platform has faced similar disruptions in the past, leading to growing concerns about its reliability. Passengers and stakeholders are urging the company to address these recurring technical challenges and ensure a robust and uninterrupted service moving forward.
