Popular singer Mika Singh known for chartbusters like Jumme Ki Raat 440 Volt and Aaj Ki Party from Salman Khan’s films recently discussed his bond with the superstar. The rapper shared interesting stories about his friendship with Khan their collaborations and how the superstar impacted his career. In an interview with The Lallantop Mika recalled his first-ever meeting with Salman revealing that the superstar visited one of Mikas shoots. Although they interacted Mika admitted he didn’t ask for Salman’s number or try to impress him saying “I wasn’t smart enough back then.” Talking about their work relationship Mika mentioned the time he recorded Jumme Ki Raat. Despite feeling that his performance in the song wasn’t great Salman loved it and stood by Mika’s version. “Salman Bhai usually calls at 2 am and he gets upset if you don’t pick up” Mika added with a laugh. When Salman Khan Requested to Change Song Lyrics Because of Katrina Kaif Mika Singh shared a story from the movie Loot where he initially wrote lyrics referencing Katrina Kaif. On Salman’s request he replaced “Katrina” with “Jacquelina” to suit the situation better. The song was Saari Duniya Mere Ispe. He explained Yes I did change it for him. But I hadn’t had any song with him before Loot I did alot of songs after that. Whatever song I write I write according to the film. In that film the characters were so that I had taken some names but then I changed it when he asked to. I changed the word ‘Katrina’ to ‘Jacquelina’.” Mika also stood by Salman during a difficult phase when the superstar received threats from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. At one of his performances Mika sang a special line for Salman saying “Bhai hu main bhai tu fikar na kar” (I’m your brother don’t worry) showing his loyalty.
