Arjun Tendulkar has once again been dropped from the Goa cricket team. Arjun, who made his return to the List A squad after being dropped during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, kicked off the Vijay Hazare Trophy with 3 wickets against Odisha. He went for 61 runs in a high-scoring game.The bowling all-rounder went wicketless against Haryana, who chased down the target of 272 with ease. Arjun scored 14 runs in the fixture. He scored 26 runs and scalped a wicket against Manipur. Goa won their third game by a big 171-run margin.Arjun's name wasn't in the squad for the ongoing fixture against Uttarakhand. With 2 wins from 3 matches, Goa are at the second spot in the Group A points table. They are solid contenders to make it to the second round. It remains to be seen if Arjun will make his return should Goa qualify.Arjun could return for Ranji Trophy plate finalArjun Tendulkar took a five-fer in his previous Ranji Trophy appearance and he should be a confirmed selection for the plate final against Nagaland. The final is scheduled to be played from January 23 to 27. Arjun scalped 16 wickets in four matches at the plate level.Arjun to play for Mumbai IndiansAfter the Ranji Trophy plate final, Arjun will make his on-field return for Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2025. Arjun has been with MI since IPL 2021.The 25-year-old made his IPL debut in 2023 and has played five matches since then. Hardik Pandya is confirmed to lead MI in IPL 2025.
