In Chhattisgarh, cases of speeding and overtaking have become major causes of accidents. Even today, a similar tragic accident became the cause of death for two youths. While overtaking a speeding truck, there was a collision between the car and the truck and the car caught fire. Not only this, the uncontrolled truck climbed over the car. Due to this, as soon as the car caught fire, the entire car started burning, due to which the two youths sitting inside the car got burnt alive and died a painful death.
This heart-wrenching accident happened on Bilaspur-Ambikapur National Highway. According to the information, a car and a truck collided head-on while overtaking near Lamana on Bilaspur-Ambikapur National Highway 130. Meanwhile, the uncontrolled truck overturned on the car. Due to which the car caught fire and the two youths from Ambikapur sitting inside died tragically after getting trapped in the burning car.
When the nearby villagers saw this accident, they started trying to extinguish the fire themselves by pouring water on the burning car. Despite this the attempt was unsuccessful. According to the people present, two fire engines of Chhattisgarh State Electricity Company reached the spot long after the accident but by then it was too late. The names of the two youths who were victims of the tragic accident are Vikas Bhagat (26 years) and Shivam Singh (25 years) respectively.
It is being told that Vikas Bhagat, operator of Chandrika Fuel located at Chathirma on Banaras Road, Ambikapur, along with his friend Shivam Singh had come to the Indian Oil Corporation Terminal at Gopalpur in Korba in his Hyundai Verna car CG 15 DU 2747 on Saturday for business work. They were returning after finishing their work here. Meanwhile, an attempt was made to overtake a speeding car with a truck near village Lamana. The accident looked like a film scene.
During the overtake, a truck came from the front, to save it the driver turned the car to the right, but after colliding with the truck, the car went off the road. Meanwhile, the truck went out of control and overturned on the car. The car was badly crushed by the truck and the fuel tank burst and caught fire. It is being told that the door got stuck due to the car being badly damaged. Vikas and Shivam could not come out. Within no time the car caught fire. At the same time, the police team somehow pulled out the truck driver who was in critical condition.

It is being told that Shivam Singh, resident of Bhatti Road, Ambikapur, was the nephew of Congress leader Late Ganesh Singh. Shivam Singh's father Ishwar Singh died of a heart attack about a month ago. He was the only son of his father. The entire family is shocked by the news of the accident.
