It was during the covid-19 lockdown that Nilesh Jadhav popularly known as the Graduate Chaiwala realised the need for neat and tidy tea-stall where good tea was sold at low prices compared to expensive cafes and decided to set up one and thus Graduate Chaha and Lassi aka Graduate Chai and Lassi was born. Nilesh Jadhav a physics teacher who once ran a coaching centre established Graduate Chaha and Lassi also called Graduate Chai and Lassi as a small tea shop during the covid-19 lockdown and today it has turned into a major tea-stall franchise having over 500 outlets across the country. Nilesh started small but soon his business grew and he was selling around 200 liters of tea per day at his tea shop. Later he realised that turning his tea business into a franchise would be more profitable and also provide employment to others. The teacher-turned-entrepreneur started giving out franchises for just Rs 50000 to enable even most financial constrained persons to operate his franchise outlets and open employment for thousands of people. After the lockdown period Nileshs business grew by leaps and bounds and today the Graduate Chaha and Lassi brand boasts of over 500 franchise outlets spread across the country. Nilesh Jadhav started his entrepreneurial journey from Shirdi Maharashtra when he stumbled upon the idea of establishing a neat and clean tea shop where good tea is sold at low prices which every regular Joe who usually consumes tea at a roadside stall can afford. Apart from keeping prices as low as possible Nilesh also cooked up a formula to make his tea taste unique and same across all the franchise outlets. Nilesh ensures that all his franchise outlets use the same type of tea leaves and jaggery so that Graduate Chaha and Lassi tastes and feels the same at every outlet. Nilesh Jadhav provides franchise licenses for just Rs 50000 providing employment opportunities to thousands as well as also building a successful business which is today worth crores of rupees.
