Amid all these speculations and questions, it seems like some netizens are all set to add a new ‘location’ to the list of possible places where aliens might be living; above the clouds! Why the sudden inclusion, you ask? Well, a video recently surfaced online, which quickly went viral for an eerie reason. The said video was reportedly being recorded from a commercial flight. The flight was at a high altitude when the clip was being captured- hence, it was only clouds that were visible in the frame. However, along with the clouds, there was something more- weird figures that looked like humans standing above the clouds. One can only imagine the confusion the clip sparked, as netizens- mostly conspiracy theorists- actively participated in the discussion of what was even happening. The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘t_paranorm_chic’. The post was shared two days ago and pulled more than 4 million views from people. Watch the viral video:

As soon as the clip went viral, netizens- especially conspiracy theorists and conspiracy lovers- began to share their take on the clip. A user declared the clip a ‘clickbait’, as they commented, “Anyone that ‘captures’ footage is always swaying the lens. No one stays on the objects long enough to make out real theories. So, to me, it’s all fake clickbait.” Another internet user had a uniquely different explanation- “Those are Cloud storage engineers checking servers and data in the cloud. They will soon dive from their 25000 feet to their office to their respective terminals.” Another person, sharing a zoomed-in screenshot of the clip, wrote, “It’s actually the desert floor and this is actually the mob dealing with a thief.” Another user had a different query, “Why on earth can't these people take a normal video and keep the camera still.” As the comments varied with all kinds of explanations, one user came up with by far the most practical one- “It is a fog layer, and you are seeing steam rising from exhaust stacks.”
