Filming for Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s next film, “Bhooth Bangla,” is scheduled to begin on Sunday.

The celebrity is collaborating with Priyadarshan on the movie. Together, they have produced a number of popular and beloved movies, such as “Hera Pheri,” “Bhool Bhulaiyaa,” “Garam Masala,” and others.

Following last month’s shooting in Mumbai, the schedule will now be filmed in Jaipur. The next part of the horror-comedy will take place in the Pink City, where the gang is now traveling.

“Bhooth Bangla,” which explores the haunted house genre with a humorous twist, promises to be the ideal combination of excitement and hilarity. Priyadarshan’s directing is supposed to give the movie a new, captivating feel, while Akshay, who is renowned for his flawless comedic timing, is likely to add his special charm to the role. Several outdoor shots in the city’s famous locations are anticipated to be part of the Jaipur itinerary, giving the movie a rich cultural setting.

Bhooth Bangla, which was directed by Priyadarshan, is produced by Cape of Good Films, a production company owned by Akshay Kumar, and Balaji Telefilms, which is owned by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor. Vedant Baali and Faara Sheikh are co-producers of the movie. Akash A. Kaushik wrote the plot, while Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan wrote the script. On April 2, 2026, “Bhooth Bangla” is scheduled to open in theaters.
