Not only this, Anurag Basu is also working on a new love story under a new name, which has nothing to do with the Aashiqui franchise. In March 2024, T-Series head Bhushan Kumar had announced that he will single-handedly produce this project of Kartik Aryan and Anurag Basu and the name of the film has been changed. However, Mid Day had told in one of its reports in November that Karthik Aryan is adamant that he wants to work only in Aashiqui banner films.
However, now it has been told that Karthik Aryan and Anurag Basu are now working on some other project. Bhushan Kumar is also producing this. It has been told in the report that all three were desperate to work together and they have got a great opportunity in the form of a love story. It has been told that the shooting of the film will start at the end of this month or in the first week of February. The search for the lead actress for the film is going on.
