During the 60s and 80s in Bollywood many films featured stories where the heros journey started from childhood. These movies often showed the hero facing poverty and hardships as a child getting separated from family and later returning as an adult to seek justice against those who took advantage of him. Films like Rajesh Khannas Roti and Amitabh Bachchans Parvarish Suhag Yarana and Amar Akbar Anthony are classic examples. In these stories the child actors who portrayed the younger versions of these iconic heroes played a significant role and left a mark on that era. One such memorable child actor was Master Titu. He portrayed the young Rajesh Khanna in Roti and young Amitabh Bachchan in Amar Akbar Anthony. Titu also starred in the superhit film Aa Gale Lag Jaa alongside Shashi Kapoor whom he affectionately called uncle. Titu was only 6 or 7 years old when he worked in this movie. He further played Shashi Kapoors younger self in Suhag. Master Titu whose full name is Titu Khatri was a well-known child artist at the time recognized in nearly every household. However as he grew up his popularity as an actor began to wane and he transitioned into side roles which did not bring him the same fame. What does Master Tito do now? Eventually Titu left acting and shifted to scriptwriting and directing advertisements and TV serials. He successfully created popular TV shows like Qubool Hai Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and Rab Se Sona Ishq. Over the years he collaborated with various TV channels and is currently a Senior Promo Producer at Viacom18 Media Private Limited. As per Ambitionbox.com the salary of a Viacom18 Media Senior Supervising Producer is between Rs 14 lakh to Rs 35 lakh annually.
