Momos recipe: Momos have become one of the most favorite street foods today. This delicious dish is liked not only by children but also by adults. Everyone likes to enjoy momos by going to a restaurant or stall, but if you want to make them at home with restaurant-like taste, then it is very easy.

By making momos at home, not only can you prepare them as per your choice, but it is also hygienic and healthy. In this article, we will tell you an easy and perfect recipe for making restaurant style momos, with which you can please your family and friends.

Ingredients for making momos

For the dough:
Flour: 2 cups
Salt: as per taste
Water: As per requirement

Momos recipe
Cabbage (grated): 1 cup
Carrot (grated): 1/2 cup
Paneer (grated): 1/2 cup
Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
Black pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
Soy sauce: 1 tsp
Salt: as per taste

Momos recipe

Wheat flour plaiting:
Take flour in a big vessel and add some salt to it.
Knead a soft dough with the help of water.
Cover it with a wet cloth and keep it for 20 minutes.

Preparing the filling:
Heat some oil in a pan.
Add ginger-garlic paste to it and fry it lightly.
Now add grated vegetables, cheese, soya sauce, black pepper and salt.
Mix everything well and cook for 2-3 minutes and let it cool.

Shaping the Momos:
Make small balls of dough and roll them.
Place the prepared filling in each ball and shape the momos as per your choice.

Steaming:
Put some water in the steamer and heat it.
Place the momos on a steamer plate and steam for 10-12 minutes.

Momos are incomplete without chutney

It is very important to have spicy red chutney with momos. You can prepare chutney with tomatoes, red chilli, garlic and salt.
