Everton's club statement read: "Everton football club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as senior men's first team manager with immediate effect.

"Under-18s head coach Leighton Baines and club captain Seamus Coleman will take charge of first-team affairs on an interim basis."
Dyche was placed in charge in January 2023 and has kept the club in the top flight for the past two seasons even though Everton were slapped with an eight-point deduction in the 2023/24 campaign.
Dyche's last game in charge came in a 1-0 away defeat to , their eighth defeat of the season having failed to score in eight of their last 10 matches.
