The ever so famous Mumbais luxurious home Mannat owned by superstar Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan is set to become even more luxurious. There are reports doing rounds on the internet that the six-story designer mansion is going to extend. Two more floors are going to be added and the interiors and architectural designing will be taken care by Gauri herself. Mannat is spread in 27000-square-foot area that has five big bedrooms a private movie theater a fitness center a pool a luxurious library and a breathtaking patio. The property’s at present cost is Rs 300 crore. It’s no wonder fans flock to Bandstand to click pictures in front of this iconic residence. Gauri Khan who submitted an application to the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) to add two new floors to Mannat has got confirmation. The minutes of the MCZMA meeting stated The proposal to construct 02 additional floors i.e. the 7th & 8th Upper Residential floor having 01 No. of Duplex Residential Flats with the provision of an internal staircase above the existing 6th floor. The existing Low-rise building will now be comprised of 02 levels of basement + Ground floor + 1st to 8th upper Residential floors with a total height of 37.54 meters. As per D P Remarks of 2034 the plot under reference is situated in Residential zone and not reserved for any public purpose. According to a Mid-Day report it has been instructed that the proposed construction must be on the landward side of the existing road and within the permissible FSI limits under the Town and Country Planning regulations as of January 18 2019. These conditions must be met before a commencement certificate is issued for the project. The expansion will make Mannat even more opulent further adding to Shah Rukh Khan’s already massive net worth. We all are waiting for the day when Gauri Khan completes the grand project.
